sue In SanFrancisco Public Speaking

I spoke virtually, as a Survivor, for the Crime Impact Statement, during a virtual VOEG Facilitator Training, from 1 to 5 pm.
The training was hosted/led by Leonard Rubio of San Quentin’s Insight Prison Project for multiple participants across the United States.

I am the guest speaker at the California Federated Women’s Club Mt. Diablo Meeting and Luncheon to be held at the Elks Lodge, 6400 W 11th St. Tracy, CA 93576. Gail Elderkin will assist me in selling books. Approximately 80 to 130 women are expected to attend. If you are interested in attending, they are going to make it available to others for $20.

The annual fundraiser dinner for the Insight Prison Project at San Quentin will take place at the Golden Gate Club, SF Presidio. The $250 a plate dinner, silent auction and raffle is their biggest fundraiser of the year. I am the Survivor Speaker for this event.

The Archdiocese of San Francisco is sponsoring The Restorative Justice Reentry Conference and Resource Fair, A Ministry of Presence at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1111 Gough St. SF, CA. I will be on a panel of speakers at the conference and my daughter, Sara Solis, will be assisting in selling books.

San Francisco County Jail violent offender unit

Public speaking to a large group of inmates housed in the San Francisco County Jail violent offender unit. The Resolve to Stop the Violence Program, led by Delia Ginorio, brings crime survivors and family members into the jail, as speakers, every Wednesday. SF lives Restorative Justice! Thank you Delia Ginorio and staff for all you do to make this world a better place.
